Planet in Peril – Time to Act!

The nation has marked the day for the celebration of the earth on 22nd April, with much pomp and with a resolve to rescue the earth for us and for the next generations . It is not only important but it is compulsory also to save earth and soil. Human being and all living beings are dependent on earth for living, when growth and development is there, saving earth and soil becomes further important. Earth has to be saved from degradation and soil should be saved from nature's degradation in forms of floods and soil erosion. Every thing essential for living to humankind and all living beings is from mother earth, hence it is the bounden duty and obligation of the people to protect earth and soil from persecutions of nature and manmade exploitation .

It should be emphasized that while humans have next to no control of the whims and wrath of nature, there is one thing man can do to save Earth.  Essentially, soil and earth is the primary material for which all terrestrial life depends. 95% of the food humans eat, is derived from soil forms of the earth. 95% of the antibiotics people and animals take are derived from soil and this illustrates that soil, earth and life have evolved together.

There is no life without earth and soil. Certainly, soil and earth, which is essentially the same thing, is one of the most important living ecosystems and natural resources, sustaining all creatures of God .Human, animal, vegetation and mineral kingdoms. If the world and its people are to ever increase their habitats, they rely on sourcing food, cloth or housing, from earth and soil. The impacts of climate change, food security, nutritional security, water quality, water renewability, biodiversity, land grabs, political stability, human health, peace and prosperity all basic, fundamental things that all rely on soil and earth. Every living being on earth is aware of their dependence on earth. No planet, equals no life. We understand this; without earth, we can't even consider living. No earth, means no water to drink, not animals living there, and of course, no cultivation, so no food to eat. Also, if there is no earth, how can we walk? The consideration of living without earth is not something related to humans at all. Humans cannot grasp the notion of life without earth. Life is possible on planet earthy and the resources it provides, life cannot be imagined without resources on earth.

Resources like air, sunlight, water, creatures, minerals and vegetation are the major components of planet earth . So it is our responsibility to save the ones we share it with now and to save earth for generations to come. Therefore it is important that we make a conscious effort and take step to save the planet. With the levels of pollution increasing, these resources have been affected, whether human recklessly destroyed them or depleted them. If we will not take the necessary steps to save the earth, sustainable living will be difficult to establish for ourselves in the future. In protecting the earth we must realize that the resources supplied to us by the earth are finite. Although most of us are unaware of this fact, and humble resources are not being used prudently. To enable the existence of mankind, we need to protect the earth and keep it well. All living things depend on the earth to survive, therefore we must be conscious in our use of the earth's resources. If any pollution or destructive acts that humans are currently undertaking continues, it will make life on earth uninhabitable; thus endangering human existence.

Saving the planet is not only the immediate need, but it is also so much more than that. The degradation caused by humans is starting to be irreversible. This is part of the reasoning as to why all resources are becoming so polluted.  Furthermore animals, birds and other species are becoming extinct and many of the worlds around us seem to almost be coming to their ends. It doesn't get any scarier than this. Thus saving the earth is a fundamental need and we should be consciously making decisions to be able to have a better and sustainable planet to live on. It is our responsibility to save the planet we live in, but instead we end up being selfish and doing things that create pollution in our environment. We as the most evolved species of the environment should understand that this is the only planet that supports life and therefore when the earth is in peril, we do not have the option to simply move to another planet for our safety. Therefore, it is vital that we fully utilize what we have in a sustainable way. Our method will save not only the earth but also our lives. Moreover our future generation will inherit a healthy planet to reside. There are certain measures we can take if we are genuinely concerned about the sustainability of planet earth.

We must save the earth through the following methods:

1. Follow the mantra- Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

2. Keep our neighbourhoods clean.

3. Plant more trees.

4. Conserve water and food bodies.

5. Educate others about the importance of conserving the environment.

6. Buy smart.

7. Cycle more and drive your car less.

8. Use LED lights.

9. Do not discharge industrial effluents in the river or other water bodies.

10. Be sustainable in everything that you do.

So, even in small ways we can create a big impact. We can prevent our planet from becoming incredibly polluted and uninhabitable simply by returning to ecological balance. For sustenance, our moral duty and responsibility is to save mother Earth as it provides us the basis necessities of life like water, air etc.

All of our well-being is tied to this planet and the land, air, water and plants that sustain all life forms. It is our obligation and responsibility to protect it. Sunlight, air, water, and plants made life possible on earth. The earth must be protected, if we are to protect life - in all of its forms on the planet. By preventing the pollution of our earth as well as the natural resources of earth like air and water we can save our planet. Saving our forests in order to save the planet. We do not have to accept dark, fatalistic doom for the earth and its biosphere. We can address the dual crises of climate and biodiversity loss- acting concertedly and together, with all beneficial intentions. This is a hopeful awakening - if we can act with urgency.  We have mere years, not decades to avert these existential scenarios. We can do it, according to science-- move toward sustainable development while keeping "catastrophic climate change at bay" and transforming the developing world.

A future in which natures wild heart still beats strong through healthy wildlife and vibrant landscapes where our cities benefit from our connection with nature. The science is clear about what we need to do to prevent irreversible damage to the lands and waters that sustain us all.. It is not too late to choose a more sustainable future where nature and people can thrive together. Currently we must change how we obtain our food, fish and energy. In nutshell, it is our moral duty and bounden responsibility to save our planet Earth and let's resolve not to do any sort of activity against the planet, we need to preserve our planet's resources for future generations.
