Pahalgam terrorist attack is most despicable and dastardly and has no parallels in the terrorist infested J&K. But post Pahalgam massacre that consumed the innocent and precious lives of 25 tourists who were our honored guests and the local Muslim youth who got martyred while fighting for the safety the tourists ,a positive wind is brewing across Kashmir as all most all political parties, social organizations, religious outfits, government of the JK UT, legislative assembly of Jammu and Kashmir and above all the common masses of the Valley have unequivocally and categorically condemned the gruesome, brutal and unprecedented terror attack. This is for the first time in the history of Kashmir which is grappling with terrorism and where terrorism was on its last leg, all the political parties and the common people condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 tourists were Killed besides a local Kashmiri youth. People, political parties and traders came on the roads and held protest demonstrations against the terror attack and terrorists and demanded severe punishment for those who are accused of involvement in the terrorist attack and also an exemplary punishment to the backers and sponsors of the Pahalgam terror attack so that such inhuman crimes do not recur again in future. It is a positive and desirable change in Kashmiri psychic that political parties of all shades and colors, religious heads and the people with one voice condemned the Pahalgam attack and cursed those involved in the brutal terror attack which has ashamed all the people of Kashmir and which shook the nation. It is a welcome development that Moulvis from the pulpits of masques and Moulvi Umar Farooq from the grand Jamia Masjid from Downtown has mourned the deaths of tourists and have observed few minutes silence for those who were killed and they also denounced ,condemned the Pahalgan terror attack and demanded hash punishment for those involved in the crime.College students including girls took out rallies against Pahalgam terror attack and demanded stern punishment to terrorists involved in the terror attack. Kashmiris without any exception are ashamed and angry over the inhuman terror attack at Pahalgam and demanded severe punishment for the killers who brought shame to Kashmir, Kashmiri’s and age old doctrine of Kashmiriyat and ashamed all Kashmiris and they condemned the Pahalgam terror attack vociferously for the first time since the inception of terrorism and armed struggle by indoctrinate youth who went astray and picked up gun at the behest and direction of Pakistan. Some argue that Kashmiris of all hues and colors have condemned the Pahalgam terror attack because they believe such an attack is a direct assault on the economy more so on tourist economy and on the livelihood of all those people who are connected directly or indirectly with the tourist economy. Agreed they have condemned the Pahalgam terror attack became their livelihood and Kashmir economy has been threatened and tourists have cancelled their bookings in large numbers. But still the fact that people of Kashmir, their political parties, political executive of the UT, its legislative and religious leaders have strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and have demanded in no uncertain terms strong punishment to the wrong doers who have killed 26 innocent people and it is a stain and blot on Kashmiriyat and our quality of hospitality.NC, PDP, PC ,Apni Party, Progressive democratic Azad party, CPI-M and others have strongly condemned Pahalgam terror attack and called for severe punishment to all those involved in the act of terror which resulted in the death of 26 persons, mostly tourists who were our esteemed guests. Kashmiris and the whole of the nation grieved over the dastardly attack which claimed 26 innocent civilian lives and people of Kashmir ,its political parties across the spectrum condemned the Pahalgam massacre boldly and called for strongest punishment to the perpetrators of the heinous incident which shamed all of us. Post Pahalgam terror attack, Kashmiri Muslims have shown their anxiety and eagerness and they rose against the terrorism and wanted an end to terror attacks so that Kashmiris live in peace and harmony and there is no bruise on the psyche of the Kashmiris. Those who indulged in Pahalgam mayhem are not only the enemies of humanity, Kashmiriyat but are also the enemies of our normalcy, peace ,progress and development and so these enemies of humanity were given strongest condemnation and all Kashmiri’s beyond their political affiliations demanded strongest punishment to all those involved in Pahalgam tragedy and this is no ordinary development but a positive sign that the attitude of Kashmiris have changed and modified and they yearn for peace, normalcy and development. The positive change in the attitude of Kashmiris towards terrorism is praise worthy as they have now chosen to be with India and they denounce and condemn Pakistan because they also consider that country behind terror attack at Biasarn meadows which resulted in 26 deaths. PM and Indian state declared that the perpetrators of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and its sponsors and backers would be punished for this heinous crime no matter where they are and the government /security forces will go to the end of the earth in tracing and punishing the culprits of Pahalgam incident and also those who sponsor and export terror to Jammu and Kashmir.PDP chief Mehabooba Mufti who is said to have soft corner for terrorists has also condemned this act of terror and demanded stringent punishment for those accused in terror and also their mentors and exporters. Ilteja Mufti daughter of Mehbooba Mufti and the leader of PDP has also condemned Pahalgam massacre and she demanded severe punishment to the terrorists involved in the tradegy.GOI should not be complacent but exploit the positive and encouraging situation created in the aftermath of Pahalgam tragedy so they should not take this change lightly but seriously think how can they use and exploit the changed attitude of Kashmiris so that terrorism is given final blow so that it should not reappear again and sock the Kashmir with innocent and precious blood. The time, circumstances have changed for better and it seems that there is now in sight the beginning of the end of terrorism and Indian government should seriously inflict maximum casualty on those involved in recent massacre so that such heinous crimes will not take place again. Modi government should encourage Kashmiris so that the tempo of condemnations will be directed towards finding terrorists and awarding stern punishment on all accused in Pahalgam tragedy. Enough is enough, Modi government should show political boldness and cross the LOC and dismantle terror training camps across boarder. Diplomatic, political measures should be supplemented and complimented with direct strike on POK so that it becomes a part of India and it will resolve K issue for all times to come and will give a death-kneel to Pak sponsored terrorism. International opinion is against terrorism and countries across the world are with India and so she should seize the opportunity and strike at Pakistan. In brief Kashmiris and all the people and political parties are against terrorism and have expressed their condemnation against terrorism and have made it clear that they are behind Modi government in its fight against the perpetrators of terror and mayhem. Finally we can say that the winds of positive change are brewing across Kashmir post Pahalgam terror attack and it may sound the beginning of the end of terrorism and so Modi government should encourage Kashmiris to go full throttle against terror and it will sound the finish of terrorism.
