Operation Sindoor: Retaliation, Restraint, and the Road to Peace

Operation Sindoor was the rightful response and reaction to Pahalgam massacre and through this operation, Indian armed forces carried out a precision strike on the terrorist infrastructure at nine sites in POJK and Pakistan. It should be made clear to the whole world including Pakistan that terrorism is a crime against humanity and there is zero tolerance against terrorism; therefore terrorism can not be justified in any shape or form and for whatever cause or reasons; since it can be justified and must to be made to die in order save humanity. The relevant question arises has the Operation Sindoor been a success? The right answer to this question of whether 'Operation Sindoor' has been a success is "Operation Sindoor" has been a complete success and our defence forces have been able to successfully wipe out the training centres of terrorism in POJK and Pakistan and this should there should be no doubt about it.

Operation Sindoor demonstrates the courage, bravery, skills, boldness of India's defence forces, and determination and foresight of our Prime minister Narendra Modi and defence minister Raj Nath Singh. Operation Sindoor was a total success, destroyed hideouts of terrorists and over 100 terrorists were killed and Pakistan has been given a loud and clear message that terrorism is not acceptable at all costs. Operation Sindoor has been a befitting reply to the forces of mayhem and doom and I hope that the Pakistan will not have the courage to re-group the terrorists again. But the record of Pakistan is such that it makes one to believe that she will perhaps not mend her ways and will continue sponsoring and transporting terrorists to India.

We are incredibly proud of the courageous actions and precise strikes on the terrorist infrastructure in POJK and Pakistan and avenging the Pahalgam massacre by destroying terrorist infrastructure and deaths of over 100 terrorists including the family of Hafiz Sayeed. However, two terror heads such as Hafiz Sayeed and Azhar Mahmood are additional safe and now they should be on hit on our army list .Thus, SINDOOR is a successful event with international experts praising its precision and success in eliminating terror threats . Operation began on May 7, 2025, in light of a terror attack in Pahalgam and focused on neutralising terror launchpads and displaying India's resolve against cross-boarder terrorism. Success of Operation Sindoor can be articulated in the following way:-

1. Elimination of terror camps: - India successfully took out nine significant launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir[POJK] ,the main focus was on the LeT and JeM, HM and some other AFs

2. Precision Strikes:- The operation involved deep strikes into Pakistan including certain areas of Punjab province and Bhawalpur, showing that India is willing to target terror activity no matter where it takes place.

3. Neutralisation of Hostile Technologies:- The Indian Air Force successfully bypassed and Jammed Pakistan’s Chinese supplied air defence systems, detailing Indian’s technological capabilities in addition to showing the fact that Indian systems could also treat Pakistan’s systems as neutralised.

4. Extensive use of Technology - The operation had the benefit of drones, Akash missiles, and an integrated Air Command and Control System-IACCS, it was a crucial component to ensure operational success.

5. Re-establishment of Regional Superiority - Operation Sindoor reestablished India’s dominance in the region and sent a firm message that cross-border terrorism will not be tolerated.

6. Calculated Response to Aggression - The Operation was a calculated response to the continued aggression of Another nation, and this operation showcased India’s readiness to use use military aggression when necessary.

7. Showcase of Inter-Services Cooperation - The Operation showcased the synergy of the Army, Navy and Air Force working together successfully.

In summary, Operation Sindoor is deemed successful in terms of destroying nine terror camps. The operation built on cross-border precision strikes. India recalibrated the rules of engagement by striking deep into the heart of Pakistan. Operation Sindoor laid a new red-line -- if terror is state policy, India will respond in a visible, impactful manner. Operation Sindoor marked a departure from deterrence and instead moved to operational measures or actions. Also, India had rejected the notion of separating terrorists from their sponsors and proved it by striking both terrorists and sponsors simultaneously.  We mixed the damned sindoor of our sisters with dust and thereby provided justice to the martyrs of Pahalgan terror attack. The results of Operation Sindoor are testament to the impact of the operation as the mission achieved complete results against nine terror camps. India destroyed nine singularly important terror launch pads in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir targets LeT, JeM and HM.

Operation Sindoor not only redeemed the Pahalgam attack, it altered the rules of the game in counter-terrorism. For the purpose of understanding, the history of Operation Sindoor must first be identified in many years of terrorism provocation from the failure rogue state of Pakistan, but more specifically, it is a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, which killed 26 civilians. This act of terrorism was the most lethal act of terrorism directed at Indian civilians since the 2008 Mumbai attack and triggered a very strong response in-kind. That strong response was Operation Sindoor - and it has been tremendously effective in execution. By targeting the terror infrastructure in Pakistan and POJK and achieving military, political and psychological objectives with outstanding precision and in overwhelming strength, India has sent a clear and powerful message not only to Pakistan, but America and the not-so-hidden hand that enable Pakistan's terrorism.

Its success was due to careful planning, advanced technology, military cooperation, and a bold display of India's zero tolerance of terrorism. We should recognize and support India's zero tolerance to terrorism as something worth applauding for the rest of the world; as India is fighting for all of us and Western powers should have no qualms in recognizing India's success. There has been some surprise at Operation sindoor's dramatic military success, but it should be apparent to these people that our Capability Contribution.

The operation was focused on nine terrorist camps located in Pakistan and in doing so, disrupted critical infrastructure and eliminated more than 100 terrorists. The bulk of the credit goes to the Indian armed forces, with very experienced commanders, using a what seems to have been a devastating combination of air strikes, drones, boots on the ground and intelligence to create maximum impact, with minimum collateral damage. The other thing the world should learn, appreciate and understand, is how the Indian Armed Forces followed a non-escalatory approach in its actions.

India in a focussed environment of being restrained, was able to neutralise Pakistan's efforts to strike, particularly against civilian areas with drones and strikes, all of which were successfully intercepted. This demonstrated India's initiative and striking capabilities, as well as, a modern defence system's important role to prevent any successful retaliatory strikes. The staggering surgical nature of the strikes and effectiveness of the defence capabilities, delivered the biggest impact. In summary, operation Sindoor was a success in every possible way and the Pak Propaganda should not be allowed to misrepresent the success of the Operation Sindoor.
