Jammu Region Sizzling under Scorching Heat

Jammu is suffering from what seems to be an unprecedented heat wave and Jammuties are cursing the day they had to face, brace and tolerant a very hot and humid weather condition. Jammu is under the grip of an acute and followed by an intense heat wave which has made their life uneasy and difficult situation to endure. The heat wave in Jammu is also made difficult due to the very low voltage and electricity crisis which Jammu residents are forced to endure, even metered colonies and considered areas are facing power cuts in these intense heat wave conditions which has added to their hellish life, and according to the weather men, this heat wave is not about to release its grip on Jammuties as we may be experiencing this heat wave for many more days until the monsoon visits Jammu and Kashmir and the people can only then feel a sigh of relief from the very hot heatwave. Jammu has already crossed the 43 degree Celsius threshold and it has continually been a night marish situation for Jammuties. With daily increase in the mercury, it has made ones life very troubling and obstructive.

Water and Power are the basic prerequisites for human life and their need increases exponentially during hot and humid season and there is need for uninterrupted water and electric supply in Jammu. But as ill luck have to the people of Jammu ,as they are facing acute shortage of water and electricity that too during the summer which has compounded the woes of the people. In fact electricity is playing hide and seek with the consumers and the people of Jammu are facing unprecedented water and power crisis and it has turned the life of people into a hell. The harshest and most record heating wave combined with the circumstances surrounding the water and power supply to the consumers has made life difficult for Jammuties who are compelled to stay for longer periods without water and power. The government appears to be inexistent or if existent pays very little concern to the supply to drinking water and electricity to people at large. The government seems to be sleeping, in a very deep slumber and unconcerned the way the supply of water and electricity is concerned to the consumers.

Regular and irregular power cuts has made the life of people miserable in these hot summer days, and the government should cease power cut/slash and for that she gets extra electricity from other electricity surplus states to tide over situation and thus give some relief to the people. In fact, the weather God has become angry with us and the rain God indra is also not pleased with the jammuites, and we all should pray to rain god indra so that he'll bring rain/monsoon which will give some relief to people from the scorching heat wave. it is really difficult to go outside of our houses during the day and one sees the people going out for shopping after 6 Pm and in the morning before 9 am.
