The Shrine of Sultan Sahib (Sultan Darvesh) at Hakura Badasgam, Anantnag

Image
A 20th century Sufi known as Sheikh Muhammad Sultan used to live in a small village in Anantnag, the Kashmir valley called Hakura Badasgam. He has achieved miraculous status throughout the Kashmir area as well as outside of it as one of its prophets. Baba Sultan is classified as a Qalandar (one of 4 categories of Sufis). The Qalandars lived their lives wholly devoted to God by following Him alone and not following social customs (that is, the accepted rules of society) as a matter of course, except where doing so might violate the Shari'ah (that is, the universal law of God). (The differences in behaviour, dress, and objects carried by Qalandars has been used as an excuse to consider Qalandars to be separate from others.) There exists a considerable amount of literature concerning Qalandars in languages other than English such as Urdu (the principal native language of Pakistan), Persian (the principal native language of Iran), and Arabic (the principal native language of Saudi Arab...

Concoction of Artificial intelligence and Operating System designs

It cannot be over-emphasized that AI and OS are at one corner of the platform for different aspirants in modern computing investigations. This has seen those heart and soul of any advancement and make it imperative for interplay that develops between AI and OS design. This elaborate foray will delve into the interdependence shared between these two areas and encompass how AI influences OS design features and vice versa. Allow me to explore historical evolution, current trends, challenges, and possible future pathways in AI and OS intersection. Evolution of AI and OS: A Historical Perspective There were early computers making use of simple and basic batch processing systems, lacking the sophistication to include the modeling of AI. With time, the computing prowess grew, affording not just more tasks but also demanding complex AI algorithms. It is at this point that ML broke the proverbial glass ceiling. From then on, it became possible for the introduced systems to learn from the data t...

Role of Python in Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Brief Overview of AI:-  In the past few years, artificial intelligence appeared to be one of the more trending technologies. Safety concerning AI is becoming much more discussed as developers increase the potential and faculties of AI-based technologies.  In fact, AI is employed in analytics to facilitate predictive analytics by empowering strategic planning and possible solutions. While AI projects are genuinely easy, they cannot be treated like ordinary software projects. The difference comes in the depth of research needed to devise AI-enabled programs, the skill set needed to work on AI-enabled projects, and, last but not least, the entire tech stack that is to be used. Any language that caters to the development of an AI application well must be stable, flexible, and have enough tools available. That is why Python development shows a clear tendency to be the best bet when developing AI applications. From the development to maintenance and deployment stages, Python empower...

Mahashivratri – A Night of Awakening and bliss

Image
Herath Celebration of Kashmiri Pandits There exists an unspecified, unexplainable energy that pushes the people of the world into life. Yet, scientists succeeded not in giving it a name. However, saints in the past spoke of that unknown energy as Shiva, the energy that is believed to give life to all living beings. Shiva is the energy that gives us the opportunity to breathe, to eat, to walk, and to carry on our daily activities. Shiva is the energy that drives all life and dwells into non-living entities as energy. That is why Shiva drives existence. Shiva literally means nothingness, but it is nothingness that creates everything and thus is what creates everything. Shiva, when understood in this way, means there is a nothingness out of which everything is created and thus Shiva is present in everything. Therefore, Shiva represents universal energy directing individuals to act and carry out activities. Mahashivratri is the night of constant awa...

On a height from the holy banks of the Devika River in the Jammu region, Purmandal, an ancient place of pilgrimage, is located about 20 kilometers from Purmandal Morh on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway. The river which originates at Sudhmahadev, another well-known Tirath in Jammu, is also called Gupt-Ganga. Amidst these hallowed grounds, Mahadev, the supreme Lord among all the deities, slew Sudhi demon with his trident at this place when the latter cast an evil eye on the female deity. The trident that was partially damaged in the duel between them is affixed along with its two or three pieces within the temple premises. Bungas Valley in Kashmir: A Tranquil and beautiful tourist attraction spot.

Bungas Valley is also known as paradise of Kashmir and it is a beautiful, serene and picturesque tourist destination that is famous not only in India but in abroad as well. Tourists from all over India visit this amazing and mesmerizing site during their travel to Kashmir. With its countless meadows holding a sylvan beauty, the verdant valley of Bangus bears little resemblance to any of Kashmir's well-known tourist spots, particularly as it falls before the small Kupwara district in the purple haze of late evening. Few observers see this valley as attracting tourists unless they have an inkling for the beauty of Kashmir's panoramas. Once in this valley, the sky is the starting point for other realms, free from people, modern buildings, and a sparse number of residents. This is the least discovered region of Kashmir and has thus avoided the rapacious tourist crowds. The meadows here are at an altitude of around 10,000 ft and are about 128 km from Srinagar. This valley of Kashmir...

Although there are many advantages to the modern digital era, these benefits also present a number of difficulties. Without question, India is leading the way in digital transactions; but, in recent years, serious cyberattacks have targeted the Indian government, public sector organizations, and private businesses. There are serious worries about India's startlingly high reported rate of cybercrimes. The fact that many consumers are unaware of the most recent strategies employed by hackers and scammers exacerbates the problem. People may learn to identify one attack method, but new methods are always being developed, leaving users susceptible until it's too late and leading to the deception of many innocent victims. There have been scammers since the beginning of time. Because of greater digitalization and ubiquitous access to technology, cyber dangers are expanding in scope and complexity at a rate never seen before. One of the notable annual pilgrimages is the Hudh Mata & Trisandhya yatras, which take place in the Kishtwar district and draw a significant number of pilgrims each year. The Hudh Mata shrine is dedicated to the ShivParivar, similar to the Shiv Khori shrine in the Reasi district. Hudh Mata is the local name for Parvati Maata. The annual yatra to Hudh Mata and Tri Sandhiya occurs on Haar Shudi Ashtami (the 8th day of the bright lunar fortnight of Haar), which falls on July 14 this year, and is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Initially, this was a local festival, primarily attended by the people of Dachhan, but over time, it has gained popularity, attracting participants from other areas of the Kishtwar district as well. Celebrate National Weatherperson’s Day

National Weather Person's Day is recognized in the world every 5 February. This day has significance in that it is the birth date of John Jaffrie, who was born in 1744 and is considered to be the first weather scientist in America. In 1788, he made the very first weather forecast, using what were marvelously accurate judgments. The day is set aside to honor the men and women who provide the people of America with current and pertinent weather reports. Although recent trends indicate that we are improving our capabilities of warning the public about hazardous weather conditions, it is necessary to stress that weather forecasting plays vital roles in agriculture, aviation, transport, and emergency management. This day aims to salute and thank all those people on the weather who work hard to put vital weather information in the hands of the populace. Weather forecasting is a very difficult task and is one such divine duty that calls for salute and respect. Hence, this day is dedicated...
