Unique KP Festival of Gan Chaudha (Ganesh Chaturthi)

Kashmiri Hindus, widely known as Kashmiri Pandits, are the inheritors of an ancient, refined, and profoundly rich cultural legacy that stretches back thousands of years. Their civilization, rooted in wisdom, spirituality, and scholarship, has withstood the test of time despite immense historical upheavals. Even in the face of migration and forced displacement from their homeland of Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits have demonstrated remarkable resilience by preserving their customs, traditions, rituals, and festivals with unwavering devotion. Their ability to retain a distinct cultural identity while remaining an integral part of the broader and eternal Sanatan Dharma reflects both their strength and their deep spiritual anchoring. Celebrate National Weatherperson’s Day

National Weather Person's Day is recognized in the world every 5 February. This day has significance in that it is the birth date of John Jaffrie, who was born in 1744 and is considered to be the first weather scientist in America. In 1788, he made the very first weather forecast, using what were marvelously accurate judgments. The day is set aside to honor the men and women who provide the people of America with current and pertinent weather reports. Although recent trends indicate that we are improving our capabilities of warning the public about hazardous weather conditions, it is necessary to stress that weather forecasting plays vital roles in agriculture, aviation, transport, and emergency management. This day aims to salute and thank all those people on the weather who work hard to put vital weather information in the hands of the populace. Weather forecasting is a very difficult task and is one such divine duty that calls for salute and respect. Hence, this day is dedicated to all meteorologists, observers, and forecasters.

National Weatherperson's Day-A day honoring all individuals concerned with meteorology, weather forecasting, and broadcast meteorology, celebrated February 5 every year: National Weatherperson's Day. This day pays homage to volunteer storm spotters, observers, and others in the field of weather. Dr. Jeffries, a scientist and surgeon, is one of America's earliest weather observers who recorded information from 1774 to 1816. National Weatherperson's Day is a special day that acknowledges the professionals working in meteorology, forecasting, and broadcasting. The professionals give meaning to our lives by enabling us to plan accordingly and stay safe during extreme weather events. Those who work hard during these celebrations are recognized for making efforts to ensure accurate forecasts and reports.  Thank your local weather person, the one person you can always count on for weather and storm updates. Describe how they exceeded limits. This day recognizes those in meteorology, forecasting of the weather, and broadcast meteorology, along with storm spotters, observers, and voluntary workers. Originating in America, National Weatherpersons Day is also celebrated in India, which is very much affected by weather forecasting and warnings, as weather changes can affect our day-to-day lives. Accurate weather predictions are a lifeline for all of us.

We celebrate National Weatherpersons Day with extreme passion to honor those bold enough to attempt, at times thankless, work forecasting the weather. It is the accuracy of some of these forecasts that inspire us to plan our work and everyday lives. People have turned to the television and radio to stay updated about the weather and nowadays Internet and social media help them be aware of everything about the weather, allowing them to organize their schedule accordingly. The occasion is marked by fanfare and jubilance across India by the government, NGOs, and the general populace. It is an occasion coming up with somber reverence for meteorologists, weather forecasters, and observers alike who together work tirelessly and selflessly for us to plan our daily work. This day should be commemorated by us all as the show of honor and respect for these experts who work in the field of weather so that they hear kind words about their work and forecasts for saving human lives.
